Overview

TOP-OVW is an introductory course for Outside Plant Engineers (OPE). It highlights Telcordia TIRKS System features and functions applicable to the work environment of OPEs. This course is instructor-led with hands-on exercises to explain TIRKS databases. Special emphasis is placed on the equipment and facility modules.

Prerequisites

A general knowledge of circuit provisioning functions will help you understand the TIRKS System activities covered in this course. Attendance in the Telcordia Telecommunications Overview (TCO) course or equivalent work experience is recommended.
