Overview
The Granite Inventory Xperload Tool is a utility provided mainly for inserting large quantities of data into the Granite Inventory database, such as when a new Granite Inventory System is being deployed or when large quantities of data are being migrated among systems. The process of migrating large quantities of data to the Granite Inventory database requires knowledge of the relationship between the data set and the database schema and also an understanding of the rules or business logic of the Granite Inventory System. Through Instructor-led training with hands-on application, participants will be taught to load sites, equipment, containers, slots, cards, ports, and user-defined attributes via the Loader Utility. As part of learning how to use the Loader, participants will gain a basic understanding of the relationships between the Granite Inventory objects. Course Aim To give the delegates a comfort level with the initial database population and/or bulk loading of data into the Granite Inventory application using the Granite Inventory Loader Tool.
You Will Learn
- Load sites, equipment, containers, slots, cards, ports, and user-defined attributes.
- Understand how to use Oracle SQL PLUS to review, repair, and delete data stored in Data tables.
- Create and Load UDAs then reload site data including UDA fields.
