Overview

The Implementation of the Granite Inventory Application requires a specialist skills set. The person is responsible for the implementation of the Granite Inventory Applications should have an understanding of the Data Model Architecture and Structures. When a new Granite Inventory System is being implemented large quantities of data are migrated among systems and the process of migrating large quantities of data to the Granite Inventory database requires knowledge of the relationship between the data set and the database schema. Having an understanding of the dataset and data schema will also assist in the generation of database and object information reports. Through Instructor-led training with hands-on activities, this course will Discuss the Granite Inventory database structure, hierarchy and Core System schemas Load sites, equipment, containers, slots, cards, and ports via the Loader Utility Learn how to modify existing reports and create new reports. Course Aim To give the delegates a comfort level in Understanding the data architecture of database tables and fields with in the Granite Inventory Application Bulk loading of data into all objects of the Granite Inventory application using the Granite Inventory Loader Tool. Creating and modifying reports using the Report Manger function within the Granite Inventory Application.

  • Load sites, equipment, containers, slots, cards, ports, circuit segments, cables, circuit paths, circuit path elements and user-defined attributes.
  • Understand how to use Oracle SQL PLUS to review, repair, and delete data stored in Data tables.
  • Access and modify Granite Inventory System?s pre-defined reports and create and modify new reports.
