GFDS: Process and Funding
- Generic Feature Development Services (GFDS) uses an Original Funding Group (OFG).
An Original Funding Group (OFG) provides the funding for the development of a generic Feature Development Services feature. The OFG member price is equal to the total price of the feature divided by the number of funders in the OFG.
- An OFG may consist of one or more Network Element Providers
- A prospective Service Provider may join an OFG
- Telcordia Technologies may join an OFG
