Service Interconnection

Accurate interconnect data is a critical part of many of your key operations processes. To stay competitive, you need to have a way to post and access current and accurate interconnect information with your trading partners. Our Service Interconnection solution is backed by the Telcordia® Service Interconnection Registry that provides three interworking and independent modules:

• Global Dialing Data
• TDM Service Interconnection (operated in North America by the Telcordia® Routing Administration (TRA), which manages the Telcordia® LERG™ Routing Guide)
• IP Service Interconnection

These modules create a trusted, centrally-managed and carrier-grade Service Interconnection Registry to manage inter-carrier routing and rating information for TDM- and IP-enabled services across any access networks (e.g., mobile, fixed line, broadband).

With this registry, you have access to a common information infrastructure that enables industry-wide cost-effective collaboration and quality service delivery. More importantly, by centralizing your interconnection information with your interconnecting partners, you can reduce revenue leakage and OPEX.

Our Service Interconnection Community program is available to further accelerate your VoIP and IMS service deployment via proven interoperability. Community members include suppliers of IP and IMS infrastructure elements and Operations Support Systems (OSSs), who have successfully completed pre-defined interoperability tests to ensure rapid deployment in operator environments. Together, Service Interconnection Community members deliver the promise of converged services via an all-IP interconnect infrastructure.
