Telcordia a nominee for a 2012 Global Mobile Award!

Telcordia is a proud nominee for a 2012 Global Mobile Award for Best Mobile Innovation for Education or Learning with our submission: Kajeet and Telcordia for Kajeet for Education and the Sentinel Platform for Smart Learning.

The Kajeet for Education program, which was launched in the U.S. in 2011, offers regulatory-compliant mobile connectivity with rates and features customized for the education community.

Kajeet worked with Telcordia to introduce the Sentinel Platform in the United States, which implements smart network controls on smart connected devices in order to bridge the digital divide and help create smarter kids. Telcordia support enabled the Sentinel Platform to provide intelligent network control to ensure the devices are an aid to education, not a classroom distraction. Sentinel ensures good fiscal control and helps put the devices in the hands that need them most.
